Moccu gives lecture at Bauhaus-University Weimar
Moccu's Jens Schmidt and Björn Zaske participated in the lecture series PROJEKTIL on May 14/15. PROJEKTIL is an initiative by students from Weimar formed out of frustration over the decreasing quality of design classes. The goal is to further the exchange between multiple design disciplines and to ultimately enrich the quality of teaching. This year's motto is "Querschläger" (ricochet).
Björn Zaske presented Moccu's work and illustrated the way the agency works showing the interactive film project "The Tulse Luper Journey" as an example.
A one-day workshop with creative director Jens Schmidt rounded up Moccu's appearance at PROJEKTIL. The focus was on character development, mimic and expression. Based on their own experiences students worked on emotional stories that were sketched, photographed and ultimately put together with "Comic Life."
This semester PROJEKTIL also managed to win over Amir Kassai + Tim Stübane (DDB), Eike König (Hort), Jörg Waldschütz (Neue Digitale), Dietmar Henneka, Via Grafik and Ruedi Baur.
